We all have an incredible ability to change someone's day with a letter but it is something we all find quite hard to fit into our busy lives.
Each month we collectively write to a stranger. Someone who's been nominated to receive an outpouring of love in the form of anonymous letters.
This month we are inviting you to write to Teri, who is 17.
Teri was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, a type of cancer which affects the blood and bone marrow in October of last year (2017). Since then, she has been having treatment which has forced her to drop-out of school and be away from her friends and family, as they live out of town.
Teri is naturally a very shy young woman, who does not like to be the centre of attention. Yet her treatment has been very hard, and due to the effects of chemotherapy and a low immunity making her incredibly vulnerable to infections, she has been forced to spend months on end in isolation at the hospital.
It would be great to send Teri some words of support and encouragement - especially if you have been affected by cancer yourself. Cancer is not something which is easy to talk about, and it can be really hard to know what the right thing is. But, anything that would cheer Teri up would be gratefully received.
Teri loves playing the guitar, listening to music, watching Netflix (especially horrors), and is fascinated by Asian culture and is currently teaching herself Korean.
Every single letter is so gratefully received. If you'd like to post in your letters please do so!
