Amanda from Inker Tinker, designer and letterpress printer working from her home studio in the peaceful rural area of Plummers Point in Tauranga, New Zealand. She is the very proud owner of a beautifully restored Chandler Price platen press built in Ohio, USA in the 1920’s, weighing in at over 700kg. Combining hand mixed inks and luxurious papers, letterpress printing is a beautiful old fashioned art form that is being reinvented and loved by many today. After working for many years in the corporate design world, Amanda discovered a love of tinkering away and getting to know all of it’s little quirks that make letterpress printing such a joy.
