I don't know about you, but each time I needed to get a thoughtful gift for my partner I came up stumped. I couldn't afford to get him a new state-of-the-art 'X', or the new musical instrument of the month (just me?), and 'man gifts' like chocolates, chilli, meat and cufflinks just isn't me. 

There's no longer any need to buy him music and I've already filled his quota for undies and socks. 

Since opening a stationery store I've realised what a great category this is for men, and how for almost every occasion be it a birthday, christmas or anniversary - there is something he 'needs' in our store. 

The modern man takes pride in long lasting high quality goods, and stationery is no exception. 

We didn't understand how big this portion of the market would be until we opened our store and, in the beginning, had men coming in looking for something for them only to leave disappointed we were so focussed on women.
